Long-exposure shot, think 2 seconds.
Tool a couple tries to capture the swings at the right timespan- before they went full circle, but almost there. And without anyone walking through my shot. :XD:

I've always been fascinated by the atmosphere of carnivals.
The slightly disorienting vibe they always have...surreal.
Like a place where the rules of reality have been temporarily relaxed.
The huge glittering machines that unfurl like great mechanical flowers from the backs of trucks...
The swirling lights and noise of the crowds...
The half-remembered memories from long-ago rides: vertigo, a little fear, and exhilaration.
You can almost glimpse seams of our universe in the hidden shadowy places behind the games and between rides.
The garden blooms in a nightly spectacle for a few days...
then vanishes again for another year.

This is my favorite of the pictures I took this year at the county fair.

Carnivals aren't a place to forget, they are a great pull out of the ordinary, and a real part of childhood.

I like the range this picture has, to me it can resemble a CD on a turntable, or some type of UFO from a top-down angle, scissoring along the ground :XD:

It's a fantastic picture

The shot has beautiful lights everywhere; it's magnificent. The wheel is in action shot with the whirling golden traces. However everything else is a little blurred.

The blurring is intentional, wanted a sort of dizzy vibe-
kind of like how you get after riding rides all night. :)
